Past Highlights
2025
- In January 2025, I gave a talk on State transfer in continuous-time quantum walks on graphs at the QuSoft Friday Seminar. In the talk, I tried to program the IBM quantum computer live. Did it succeed or end up in a super long queue? Watch and find out.
2023
- In late 2023, I held the Cheryl E. Praeger Visiting Research Fellowship and gave a plenary talk at the 5th Australasian Combinatorics Conference at The University of Western Australia (December 11–15, 2023). I also met several quokkas.
2022
- In the summer of 2022, I gave a 5-part minicourse on Graph Isomorphism and Matrix Algebras at the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) in Montréal, as part of the workshop Graph Theory, Algebraic Combinatorics and Mathematical Physics (July–August 2022).
Older
- Here’s a video of me explaining my thesis topic in 3 minutes, as a part of SFU’s 3MT thesis competition in 2013, in which I was a finalist.
- I use SageMath as a way to generate examples and gain intuition; a while ago, I gave a tutorial on casual uses of SageMath in research.
